General terms and conditions

1. Appointment Booking
The training sessions take place once or several times a week by appointment and last between 45-55 minutes depending on the course. Appointments can be arranged in person, by telephone, or in writing by email. Only written registration entitles participation in the agreed course. Appointments that have been agreed upon in the studio and cannot be kept must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Missed or cancelled appointments will be charged in full.
2. Training Sessions
The following are the various training sessions offered by Pilates Sports. The following list is not exhaustive. The company reserves the right to change or update the training sessions offered at any time without prior notice.
1 person + 1 trainer = private Pilates lessons
2 persons + 1 trainer = duo Pilates lessons
4 persons + 1 trainer = Pilates group subscription
10-week courses (Kids, Pre- and Postnatal)
3. Group Training
The binding agreement of a fixed weekly training time of a group subscription with monthly payment always includes an assurance of 42 training weeks in the calendar year. All training weeks beyond this (maximum of 46 training weeks in the calendar year) are also covered by the monthly fee. Any further weeks of training services fall outside the scope of the agreed remuneration.
3.1 Studio Holidays Group Subscription
Periodic studio holidays are scheduled in the studio when groups do not take place. These periods are covered by the annually contractually agreed-upon hours. These studio holidays are divided into three categories: first, studio holidays between Christmas and New Year's, second, studio holidays on public holidays, and third, studio holidays announced by the studio in advance. The announcement must be made at least two weeks in advance.
3.2 Cancellation
Cancellation of group training must be made in writing and can be given at any time without stating reasons with a notice period until the end of the following month.
3.3 Course Fees
Course and training fees are payable by bank transfer or direct debit. In the case of bank transfer for group subscriptions, the monthly course fees are due on the 10th of each month.
4. Trial Sessions in a Group, Private or Duo Sessions, Gift Certificates
4.1 Trial sessions in a group, private or duo sessions, as well as the redemption of gift certificates, require individual appointment scheduling. Gift certificates are valid for a period of one year from the date of issue.
Payment for these services can be made by card or cash in the studio. Cash payments are accepted against a receipt.
4.2 Private and duo sessions also take place during all studio holidays, except for public holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year's.
4.3 Already paid-for private or duo sessions, as well as other products from Pilates Sports, cannot be transferred to other customers.
5. General Training Guidelines
It is important to follow the trainer's instructions in the studio during the training sessions. The use of equipment is only permitted in the presence of the trainer and after prior instruction.
If an injury or medical condition occurs during the training session, the trainer must be informed immediately. Before starting the training session, all participants should inform the trainer of their health condition as well as any restrictions or pre-existing conditions.
It is pointed out that training is done at one's own risk, and each participant is responsible for their own physical well-being. The organizer of the training or the trainer cannot be held liable for any injuries or damages that occur during the training.
6. Disclaimer
6.1 Participation in the courses offered by the Pilates studio and the use of equipment is at the user's own risk. Failure to follow the operating instructions.
6.2 The Pilates Studio is not liable for accidents caused by the user's own fault, as well as those caused by the behavior of third parties, including other users of the Pilates Studio. The same applies to the loss and/or damage of items brought by the user unless the user has properly locked them in the Pilates Studio's locker system.
6.3 The Pilates Studio is liable for damages resulting from a breach of its duty of care, i.e., inadequate condition of the premises and sports and training equipment, or due to incorrect advice from its trainers. Liability is limited to the existing insurance coverage as follows: Flat insurance sum of 3,000,000.00 Euros for personal and property damages.
7. Amendment
Pilates Sports reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions at any time. The amended conditions will be communicated to the participants in writing or by email at least four weeks before they come into effect. The changes are deemed accepted by the participant if he/she does not object in writing within four weeks of receiving the notification. Pilates Sports will inform participants of their right to object and the importance of the four-week period in the notification.
8. Data Protection
By using the services of the organizer, the participant agrees to the data protection policy of Pilates Sports.
